Dimensia
This game was my first major graphical project, which I began while I was in high school at the age of 15. It served as the foundation for my programming knowledge and sparked a lasting interest in the field.

Development
The game was developed from 2012 to 2014 with the goal of creating something fun while experimenting with various coding concepts and architectures.
Using C# alongside Microsoft’s XNA framework, the initial code quality was subpar, as the project was primarily intended as a “learning to code” initiative. This ultimately led to a halt in further development, as refactoring the existing technical debt proved too time-consuming. Despite these challenges, a fairly complete game was created, featuring networking capabilities (multiplayer), a level editor, and a substantial single-player campaign.

Game Arc
Dimensia is a 2D platformer focused on the adventure of a single individual and his companion, Henry. The game explores the journey of this individual in a robotic suit, testing his abilities across multiple dimensions within a selected environment. As players progress through various challenges, they encounter new environments that further test their skills and the suit’s capabilities, leading to more complex obstacles and advanced gameplay.
The storyline follows the protagonist as he faces challenges presented by an unknown source, which aims to ’test’ the suit’s abilities. As players advance through the game, they uncover more about their identity and their place in the face of reality.
